DIY Pennant Gift Bag


Today I'm showing you an easy way to dress up a plain gift bag.

Pennants/bunting/banners are all the rage right now & this is such a simple little project you can do in such a short time.




Here's what you need:


1) A plain gift bag
2) Triangles cut from some pretty paper (I used my cricut to cut mine out)
3) A sewing machine
4) Glue




Feed your triangles through your sewing machine to attach them together. 
I did one long string & then cut off sections as I needed them, but you could just do several smaller sections too.




Arrange them on your gift bag.




Attach them to your gift bag. I used the glue runner I use for scrapbooking & card making.




That's it! So easy & pretty right? 




You can use whatever kinds of papers you want to go with a certain theme or age too!




I think this is perfect for a spring bridal shower, baby shower, or even for Easter.

And, as you can see, I have plenty more bunting left over for the next project! :)
