Today I'm starting a new weekly tradition. A little week in review using the photos I took on Instagram.
What? You're not following me on Instagram? Follow me at StephRichy if you'd like to come along for the ride.
Let's begin now... (remember hearing this as I child on those read along records? "You will know it is time to turn the page when you hear the chimes ring like this. Brrrriiing! Let's begin now.")
Anyway...
I concocted my favourite recipe to date last weekend. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups were involved. Amazing.
We are dealing with NASTY cold January weather here on the Canadian plains. When I took this photo of my frosted up kitchen window, it was -43ºC. That's -45ºF. So very wrong. Ugh!
I did a tiny bit of Valentine decorating in our living room. More to come this week.
Decided to give myself a manicure & was having a hard time choosing a colour.
Parisian Blue by Joe Fresh won out.
I spent a good amount of time choosing some music for one of my voice students & practicing the piano for some vocal coaching I'm doing with some local high school students.
I was super pumped yesterday morning to go thrifting with a sweet friend. Can you tell I'm excited?
Let me tell you, if there are any girls in the Saskatoon area that are looking for a grad dress, the Sally Ann is the place to go! (*wink, wink*)
It was like 27 Dresses in there!
Alas, I came away from our thrifting not with an ugly grad dress, but with a gorgeous little girl's vintage red wool coat (it should fit my daughter next winter), a vintage silver wreath...
...a frame that has some spray paint in it's future, & a vintage (or vintage looking - not sure which) yellow pillow case. I have plans for it already.
After our thifting, we stopped in at Urban Barn & drooled over some beautiful home decor items. I was in love with this full length mirror...
...along with a bunch of other stuff! (Still loving the owl trend!!)
I hope you've had a great week too!
Thanks for reading. If you like what you see here on Silver Boxes, I'd love it if you would become a follower on Google Friend Connect, subscribe by email (sign up on the right sidebar),
And please leave a comment when you do so I know who my new friends are! :)
Enjoy your day!
I've been taking photos via Instagram for about a month and a half. I like to have a reminder about what we've been up to... I'm a follower via GFC and I enjoyed seeing your pictures! =) Happy weekend!
